How To Invest In The US Stock Market From Dubai

In this post I discuss how to invest in US stocks from dubai whether you’re a US Expat or foreigner looking to put your money to work in the US stock exchange. At the end of the video I share information with you about different investment platforms that allow you to invest your money in the US stock market from abroad.

Additionally I provide you with basic information about ETFs/index funds, being aware of and avoiding high fees and commissions on your investments, and dollar-cost averaging if you can’t invest a lump sum of money. Here are links to the platforms I mention. I am an affiliate of eToro and will earn an affiliate commision if you choose to create an account with them, and if you choose to sign up with Baraka, I get boosted up the waitlist. I was not paid by any of these firms to make this video:

1. eToro – They don’t charge commissions or fees until you decide to withdraw your money. Their platform offers some of the more popular stocks, but they don’t offer all the stocks traded on the US exchanges. eToro makes it easy to open an account, but you should avoid services such as leveraging(basically trading money you don’t have). 2. Sarwa – Requires a minimum $500 investment, however they manage the investing and charge fees. They select your investments based on your risk level and invest for you using a trading algorithm. Sign up hereOpens in a new tab.

3. Interactive Brokers – Interactive Brokers charges a minimum of $1 per trade, as well as account maintenance fees of $10 per month after the first 3 months, which can eat away at your returns especially if you’re not investing much. Sign up here Opens in a new tab.

4. Baraka – Baraka is new and it’s not possible to open an account yet, however they offer a waitlist. They are advertising the ability to invest in thousands of US Stocks and ETFs with no fees. You can sign up using the link in the description of this video and get $50 in free stocks once they allow you to open an account. Sign up hereOpens in a new tab.
