Expo 2020 Terra Pavilion Premiere Tour

Over the weekend I had the opportunity to attend an early premiere of the expo 2020 terra pavilion premiere here in Dubai. Tickets to attend the Expo 2020 pavilions premiere are available on the Expo website. The Terra pavilion is a 130m/426ft wide self sustaining structure covered with solar panels. The terra pavilion was designed to be self sustaining, with the ability to produce its own electricity as well as supply and treat its own water. There’s a chute down the middle of the pavilion, allowing it to capture rainwater. In the vicinity of the Terra pavilion there are exhibits that educate visitors on the environment, human consumption, and where we’re headed in future environmentally, and how we can be better stewards of Earth. Outside the Pavilion you’ll find live entertainment such as like bands, DJs, interactive games, food trucks, and cafes. Expo 2020 is scheduled to start in October 2021 and will run until March 2022.
